[Intro]
You are the light of my beautiful life
You are the light of my beautiful life

[Verse 1]
You know I wake up and everyday
I feel safe knowing that you got my back now and forever
Live in my life cause I've got nothing to do
When a tear falls
You put your hands out, you catch my tears
And I'm feeling so close to your love now
If I was lost out now I am found

[Pre-Chorus]
I lift my hands and pray cause life is tough somedays
But I will not lose faith cause you will lead the way

[Chorus]
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star

[Post-Chorus]
You are the light of my beautiful life
I can never let go, you're my brightest morning star
You are the light of my beautiful life
I can never let go, you're my brightest morning star

[Verse 2]
In your arms I, I feel alive, I am not afraid
I will keep you, listen closely
I look for signs everyday

[Pre-Chorus]
I lift my hands and pray 'cause life is tough somedays
But I will not lose faith 'cause you will lead the way

[Chorus]
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star
You're my light when it gets dark
You're always in my heart
You're my brightest morning star

[Outro]
You are the light of my beautiful life
You are the light of my beautiful life

Britney Spears

Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer and actress. Born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, she performed acting roles in stage productions and television shows as a child before signing with Jive Records in 1997.

Spears’s first and second studio albums, …Baby One More Time and Oops!… I Did It Again, became international successes, with the former becoming the best-selling album by a teenage solo artist. Title tracks “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” broke international sales records, with the former reaching number one in every country it charted in. In 2001, Spears released her self-titled third studio album, Britney, and played the starring role in the film Crossroads (2002). She assumed creative control of her fourth studio album, In the Zone, which yielded the worldwide success of the single “Toxic.”

In 2007, Spears’s much-publicized personal issues sent her career into hiatus. Her fifth studio album, Blackout, was released later that year, and spawned hits such as “Gimme More” and “Piece of Me”.
