[Verse 1]
I'm blind from the tears that fall like rain
So lost, ever since you went away
Sometimes our lives forever change
My heart's never gonna be the same

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause you came and you gave me a place
Place to lay all my pain
Why'd you take it away?

[Chorus]
You never know what you got 'til it's gone
You never know what you got 'til it's gone
You never, you never, you never, you never
You never know what you got 'til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
'Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's gone

[Verse 2]
I try every night, to turn the page
But daylight can't confine me to a cage
In my mind, the life we had replays
Now everywhere, I turn I see your face

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause you came and you gave me a place
Place to lay all my pain
Why'd you take it away?

[Chorus]
You never know what you got 'til it's gone
You never know what you got 'til it's gone
You never, you never, you never, you never
You never know what you got til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's, 'til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's gone

[Bridge]
All the memories, I'm saving
So your love is never fading
Holding on my heart is breaking
Can't let go

[Chorus]
You never know what you got 'til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's, 'til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's, 'til it's
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone, gone
Til it's gone, gone, gone, gone
You never know what you got 'til it's
Got 'til it's, got 'til it's, got 'til it's gone

Britney Spears

Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer and actress. Born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, she performed acting roles in stage productions and television shows as a child before signing with Jive Records in 1997.

Spears’s first and second studio albums, …Baby One More Time and Oops!… I Did It Again, became international successes, with the former becoming the best-selling album by a teenage solo artist. Title tracks “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” broke international sales records, with the former reaching number one in every country it charted in. In 2001, Spears released her self-titled third studio album, Britney, and played the starring role in the film Crossroads (2002). She assumed creative control of her fourth studio album, In the Zone, which yielded the worldwide success of the single “Toxic.”

In 2007, Spears’s much-publicized personal issues sent her career into hiatus. Her fifth studio album, Blackout, was released later that year, and spawned hits such as “Gimme More” and “Piece of Me”.
