[Verse 1]
I'm slowly floating through the clouds
Receiving all your messages
Nothing prepared me for the sound
It's deafening
I can feel your gravity letting go
Positioning my body for the journey home

[Chorus]
Can you see the lights I'm swimming in
Lost amongst the stars and all the lies I'm spinning
So I'll drift amongst these clouds
I'll find my own way
Alive at last, alive at last
I'm never coming home

[Verse 2]
I'm slowly sifting through the clouds
Receiving all your medicines
I am escaping from the ground
The sound is deafening
I can feel your gravity letting go
Positioning my body for the journey home

[Chorus]
Can you see the lights I'm swimming in
Lost amongst the stars and all the lies I'm spinning
So I'll drift amongst these clouds
I'll find my own way
Alive at last, alive at last
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
Can you see the lights I'm swimming in
Lost amongst the stars and all the lies I'm spinning
So I'll drift amongst these clouds
I'll find my own way
Alive at last, alive at last
Can you see the lights I'm swimming in
Lost amongst the stars and all the lies I'm spinning
So I'll drift amongst these clouds
I'll find my own way
Alive at last, alive at last
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
I'm never coming home
No I'm never coming home

Candlebox

A very underrated band from Seattle, but was a little late to the grunge scene. Success wasn’t easy for them as all of the bands at that time in Seattle were growing and getting huge, most said they would get ignored. The group formed in 1990 and released their first studio album in 1993 self-titled.
