[Verse 1]
Somewhere
In a house down the street from your own
She was dying inside
And you'd die every night from their storms
Maybe
Did you bury it deep and move on
Were you hiding from fear
Did she hide the same things? All the wrongs?
(Did she hide the same things)

[Chorus]
Oh oh...
We made it through
We know who we are
Only because of you
Oh oh...
We made it through
And we know love
Only because of you

[Verse 2]
Downtown
On a stage where you thought you belonged
Were you saving your life
Were you saving his too all along
Skyline
Could you feel the escape or the fall?
Were you drowning alive
In spite of the padded cell walls
(In spite of cell walls.)

[Chorus]
Oh oh...
We made it through
We know who we are
Only because of you
Oh oh...
We made it through
Oh... and we know love
Only because of you... ohh

[Verse 3]
There were times when the lights were out
I'd step towards the door
And hear you screaming out
Time spent alone
Wasn't right for you
Oh, how many times you must've wanted to run
Pills on the floor
If you'd had a gun?
Time spent alone
Wasn't right for you

[Chorus]
Oh oh...
We made it through
We know who we are
Only because of you
Oh oh...
We made it through
And we know love
Only because of you
(Only because of you)
Only because of you
Only because of you

Candlebox

A very underrated band from Seattle, but was a little late to the grunge scene. Success wasn’t easy for them as all of the bands at that time in Seattle were growing and getting huge, most said they would get ignored. The group formed in 1990 and released their first studio album in 1993 self-titled.
