Songwriter: Boy George John Themis Michael Craig Roy Hay

She thinks love lies
In the bruises round the eyes
She thinks his big heart
Makes him apologize

Out in the night
Mascara running like a river down
She's the homecomin' queen
Who went and lost her crown

Ooh, there's no cure for this crazy love
She turns the other cheek
But it's never been enough
He's a big man now
But he's lookin' at her small
As the table falls over again
And the food hits the wall

What does sorry mean
When tears are seldom seen?
What good is regret
If you don't feel it yet?

What does sorry mean
When there's no love to perceive?
You're not strong enough
To hold the world at bay

Who's lovin' who?
Who?

She never lies
And hardly looks at other guys
Just 'cause you fall in love
Don't mean your heart dies

She dies a little
Every time he puts her down
Evil words and mad kings
Are you hurtin' now?

There's no cure for this crazy love
She turns the other cheek
But it's never good enough
He's a big man now
But he's lookin' at her small
As the table falls over again
And the food hits the wall

What does sorry mean
When tears are seldom seen?
What good is regret
If you don't feel it yet?

What does sorry mean
When there's no love to perceive?
You're not strong enough
To hold the world at bay

She can't go back
She can't be alone
She can't go back
Always checkin' the phone
She can't go back
She can't be alone
She'll never be free, yeah

What does sorry mean?
(What does sorry mean?)
What does sorry mean?
(What does sorry mean?)
What does sorry mean?
When the tears are seldom seen?

What good is regret
If you don't feel it yet?
What does sorry mean
With no love to be seen?
You're not strong enough
To hold the world at bay, yeah yeah

(What does sorry mean?)
What does sorry mean?

Culture Club

Culture Club is a New Wave / Pop Band from London England who are known for a string of pop hits during the 1980s. Their second album, Colour By Numbers, sold more than 10 million albums, was ranked the 96th best album of the 1980s by Rolling Stone, and contained their most famous song Karma Chameleon.

Formed in 1981 by lead singer Boy George, bassist Mikey Craig, drummer Jon Moss and guitarist Roy Hay, Culture Club was named after the diversity in ethnicity and backgrounds of it’s members. They were soon after signed to Virgin records, but it wouldn’t be until the press realized Boy George’s androgynous style, before Culture Club would take off as pop hit masters.

Culture Club sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and had international success with songs such as “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?”, “Time (Clock of the Heart)” and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya”.
