I'm a running fool
Not running from but running to
Any chance to spread the word
His ageless Word, the living Truth

I’ve got this feeling
It's burning hot
A heart needs healing
And what I've got

Is a fire inside my soul
Spreading like the wind
To the ones who need to know
God loves them
And this fire inside my soul
Is a flame I won’t let die
Where the winds of sorrow blow
I'll take the love of Christ

All who live in fear
Who shun the light, your hope is here
Christ has come to call your name
His Holy flame, gonna draw you near, oh...

I've got this feeling
It's burning hot
Well, a heart needs healing
And what I've got

Is a fire inside my soul
Spreading like the wind
To the ones who need to know
God loves them
And this fire inside my soul
Is a flame I won't let die
Where the winds of sorrow blow
I'll take the love of Christ
(Fire inside my soul)

There's a fire, a holy fire
There’s a fire, a holy fire
And I’ll take the love of Christ

Whoo-ooh, yeah

Fire, and it's burning, yeah
Wanna spread the word for Jesus
(Fire inside my soul)

Fire, burning, fire, oh-whoa...
Yeah, I’m gonna tell the world, yeah...
