[Verse 1]
I guess I'm awake, fuck, why me?
Couldn't he just take me in my sleep?
I guess he doesn't exist
After all, I should be dead for what I've said
(Dead, dead for what I've said)

[Chorus]
I been looking for love in algorithms
Tryin' to find my piece of mind
I been playin' with drugs since I lost my gun
And these acrylics keep breakin' and breakin' and

[Verse 2]
You're still the rose below my shin
And every day I fight to not ask how you been
I've been wasted not thinkin' 'bout what's next
'Cause you know when movies end, no one reads the creds
I'm switching to a new diet, heavy on lead
Open up my lips, let the end begin
I wonder, would you care if I wasn't here?
I wonder, would you care? I wonder, would you care?
If I shoot and miss, I know you'll never miss me
If I shoot and miss, I know you'll never miss me again

[Chorus]
I been looking for love in algorithms
Tryin' to find my piece of mind
I been playin' with drugs since I lost my gun
And these acrylics keep breakin' and breakin' and

Ghostemane

Eric Whitney Ghoste (born April 15, 1991), also known as Ghostemane, is an artist from Lake Worth, Florida. He initially rose to popularity as a member of the now-defunct SCHEMAPOSSE—a group that included Lil Peep and JGRXXN amongst others. In a 2017 interview with No Jumper, Ghostemane said he decided to leave SCHEMAPOSSE as he wanted to grow as an independent artist, and didn’t want to be boxed in a certain group or movement.

In a 2016 interview with Metal Insider, Ghostemane stated that he was majorly influenced by metal bands such as Deicide, Death, Carcass, and Mayhem. He later got into hip hop groups such as Dirty Boyz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Three 6 Mafia. He listed bands like Circle Takes the Square and The Number Twelve Looks Like You as additional inspirations in a 2016 statement to Masked Gorilla.

Ghostemane has numerous side projects. These include his lo-fi black metal project Baader Meinhof, and his experimental noise project GASM.
