[Intro]
Yeah
Uhhh, I mean
I was trying to make things work us
You know
Trying to be a good man
Trying to be by your side

[Chorus]
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I mean I wrote you letter after letter)
First of all (please understand I tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else

[Verse 1]
Never wanted this be
Just thought I let you know
That I'm letting you go (letting you go)
I was down on bending knee
Said you didn't want me know more
I tried everything that I could
To change your thoughts about me (if only you could see)
That I'm the best man for you
But you figured out to late
Now I got to skate
And I'm telling you

[Chorus]
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I've tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I've tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else

[Verse 2]
I think it's time you finally see (see)
That all I ever wanted was it to be you and me
Love I gave you didn't receive
Maybe that's you couldn't handle me
Then I finally met someone else
Woman who indeed completes me
Now you try to come back now
But your just a few seconds late
Cause now I got to skate

[Chorus]
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I've tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else

(Romeo speaks)
Now what
You wanna holla at me now
Hell naw
I mean I wish it could of work
But it didn't
Listen up

[Chorus]
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I've tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else
First of all (I called you day after day)
First of all (I wrote you letters after letter)
First of all (please understand I've tried)
You kept trippin
Now there's someone else

Immature

Immature, also known as IMx, is an R&B group from Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1992 by Marques Houston (Batman), Jerome Jones (Romeo, also known as Young Rome), and Don Santos (Half-Pint). The trio decided to enter a talent show together at the school they were attending. After performing, they were discovered and signed to Virgin Records, and began recording their debut album.

Their debut album, On Our Worst Behavior, was released on September 22, 1992. The album produced three singles: “Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior” featuring Jermaine Dupri, “Da Munchies”, and “I Wanna Know U That Way”. Though the album and two of its singles failed to chart, “Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior)” managed to peak at #29 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, largely due to its inclusion on the soundtrack to the animated film Bébé’s Kids.

In 1994, Half-Pint’s parents pulled him from the group because they wanted him to focus on his studies more instead of being in the group. Half-Pint was replaced by Kelton Reese (LDB, or Little Drummer Boy), who was already the drummer for the group. Now signed to MCA Records, their sophomore effort Playtyme Is Over was released on August 10, 1994. Unlike their previous effort, the album managed to peak at #26 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #88 on the Billboard 200. The accompanying three singles for the album were: “Never Lie” (the album’s most successful single, peaking at #5 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, “Constantly”, and “I Don’t Mind”.
