Songwriter: James Arthur

(Instrumental)

(Verse 1)
I saw you at
I saw you at
A twisted part of life that never swung your way
Now it haunts you everyday

(Pre-Chorus)
And just like a flower turning blue
I pulled you from the water
Since that breath you drew
I’m so glad that I brought ya back to us, my dear
And now you’re like a daughter to me
To me, to me

(Chorus)
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you, no
Sweet, sweet bumblebee
Sweet, sweet bumblebee
Sweet, sweet bumblebee

(Verse 2)
And if I could write your script
Well, I’d change all this
And not include the part where you fulfill your every wish
And your every gift

(Pre-Chorus)
And just like a flower turning blue
I pulled you from the water
Since that breath you drew
I’m so glad that I brought ya back to us, my dear
And now you’re like a daughter to me
To me, to me

(Chorus)
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you, no
Sweet, sweet bumblebee
Sweet, sweet bumblebee
Sweet, sweet bumblebee

(Bridge)
The drops from the ceiling
I thought you were not breathing
(I promise, I’ll be there!) I’ll be there forever (forever!) and ever, I promise
The drops from the ceiling
I thought you were not breathing
I promise, I’ll be there
(forever!) I’ll be there, (forever!) I promise

(Chorus)
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you
“Never take the easy way out again”
I said, “never take the easy way out”
I could never live without you, my dear friend
I could never live without you, no
