[Verse 1]
Look where you came form, darling
Look at where I've been
How does it feel now, darling?
Now they bought you all my dreams

[Pre-Chorus]
Well, you said
This was all you ever dreamed of, honey
Well, I guess
You could never wish for more

[Chorus]
And you made my dreams look so cheap
And then you ripped them all up when I waited a lifetime
Just to watch you rip it all up and you said
This was all you ever dreamed of, honey
Well, I guess
Nothing's never good enough
Nothing's never good enough
No, no
No, no

[Verse 2]
How does it feel now, darling?
Now they bought you all my dreams
And you said
This was all you ever dreamed of, honey
And you said
You could never wish for more

[Chorus]
Well, you made my dreams look so cheap
And then you ripped them all up, I waited a lifetime
Just to watch you rip it all up and you said
This was all you ever dreamed of, honey
Well, I guess
Nothing's never good enough
And you said
This was all you ever dreamed of, honey
Well, I guess
Nothing's never good enough

[Bridge]
I'm brave to leave all
My dreams in your possession
For you, it's just a phase, for me, an obsession
And I long for them to hear
My songs of hopes and fears
And I hope that it will reach those who can relate
And they televise those brats
You'll never understand the value of that

[Chorus]
And you made my dreams look so cheap
And then you ripped them all up, I waited a lifetime
Just to watch you rip it all up
And you made my dreams look so cheap
And then you ripped them all up, I waited a lifetime
Just to watch you rip it all up and you said
'This was all you ever dreamed of, honey'
Well, I guess
Nothing's never good enough
And you said
'This was all you ever dreamed of, honey'
Well, I guess
Nothing's never good enough
No
