[Verse 1]
I wanna wake up sober
See what the sunrise means to me
'Cause I've been getting colder
And nothing means anything
I wanna really hold ya
And feel the ground beneath my feet
'Cause when it's all all over
Don't wanna miss anything

[Pre-Chorus]
Putting out cigarettes on my bed
Only friends never up in my head
When you hit bottom, only place to go is up

[Chorus]
When I found me, I was smiling
And through the crying, I finally feel good
When I broke free from the old me
I was singing, "I finally feel good"

[Verse 2]
I was getting closer
But I was getting in my way
We're only getting older
I keep on making the same mistakes
Self-inflicted torture
It no longer gets me high
And finally I want to
Follow my own lullaby

[Pre-Chorus]
Trying to remember what my mother said
Middle finger up to my twisted head
When you hit bottom, only place to go is up

[Chorus]
When I found me, I was smiling
And through the crying, I finally feel good
When I broke free from the old me
I was singing, "I finally feel good," oh-oh

[Bridge]
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) To be in my own skin
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) It finally feels like home, yeah
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) I keep telling myself, yeah
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) You don't have to be alone

[Chorus]
When I found me (Will I?)
I was smiling (I was smiling, yeah)
And through the crying (And through the crying)
I finally feel good (I finally feel)
When I broke free (When I broke free, broke free)
From the old me (From the old me, old me)
I was singing (Yeah, yeah)
"I finally feel good" (I finally feel good, baby)

[Outro]
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) Oh, I finally feel good, baby
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) Oh, I finally feel good, baby
Oh, I finally feel good, baby
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) Oh, I finally feel good, baby
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) Oh, I finally feel good
(Ha-ah-ah, ha-ah-ah) Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ooh
