[Verse 1]
I used to come here on my own and drink
So I didn't have to think or hear the whispering
I stand with people telling lies again
In suits and ties again
And I just need a friend

[Pre-Chorus]
You walked into the room and cut the atmosphere like a knife, alright
A sober reminder that 'til now, I've just been wasting my time, ooh yeah

[Chorus]
From me to you, I hate everybody
From me to you
From me to you, just a bunch of bodies in this room
And maybe it's too soon, but shall we go now, baby?
Shall we go now? Ooh
Mm-mm

[Verse 2]
Yeah
I used to stand here with an angry face
Made people look away
I never played the game
Kill them with kindness, it's a lesson learned
Instead of bridges burned
Look how you made me turn

[Pre-Chorus]
You leave the room and I could cut the atmosphere like a knife, oh my
A sober reminder that you're better when you're there by my side, oh woo

[Chorus]
From me to you, I hate everybody
From me to you
From me to you, just a bunch of bodies in this room
But maybe it's too soon, shall we go now, baby?
Shall we go now? Oh

[Bridge]
Shall we go?
Shall we go?
Gotta get from me to you
Gotta get from me to you
Gotta get from me to you

[Chorus]
From me to you, I hate everybody
From me to you
From me to you, just a bunch of bodies in this room
And maybe it's too soon, but shall we go now, baby?
Shall we go now? Oh
