[Verse 1]
I want to be close to you
I want to feel what you're thinkin'
I want you to feel my…
Emotions, no hesitating
You can be as bold as you want
My love is here and waiting
And no longer will I stand
For just imagining, 'cause…

[Chorus]
Boy, I don't know
What it would be like
If I had you here with me
Boy, I can't say how
It would brighten my day
Just to have you here with me
Boy, I don't know
What it would be like
If I had you here with me
Boy, I can't say how
It would brighten my day
Just to have you here with me

[Verse 2]
Now, it's getting stronger
The feeling's more than amazing
You see when I am all alone
It's of you that I'm thinking
Each and every night
Your thoughts have me mesmerized
And when I am by your side
My dreams become real life

[Chorus]
Boy, I don't know
What it would be like
If I had you here with me
Boy, I can't say how
It would brighten my day
Just to have you here with me
Boy, I don't know
What it would be like
If I had you here with me
Boy, I can't say how
It would brighten my day
Just to have you here with me

[Verse 3]
Is it really love?
Is this reality?
Or possibly a dream?
Could you be all I need?
And looking for to complete my life
Is this for real?
Or just my imagination?
Is it really love?
Is this reality?
Or possibly a dream?
Could you be all I need?
And looking for to complete my life
Is this for real?
Or just my imagination?

Jhené Aiko

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo (born March 16, 1988) started her career under the moniker Jhené Aiko when she was 13 with the music group B2K. She explained how she later opted out of the deal to go back to high school and have her daughter Namiko in an interview back in July 2012 with Lozza

I was signed with Sony/EPIC when I was 12 years old and got a release from them when I was about 15 or 16 to focus on school. I started writing more and I had a child who’s now three years old.

After the failed release of her debut album, My Name Is Jhené back in 2003, Jhené released her debut mixtape, Sailing Soul(s) on March 16, 2011.
