[Intro]
I wanna be, (I wanna be)
I wanna be, oh-oh
I wanna be, oh, no, no
I, (I wanna be), I, I

[Verse 1]
I wanna be your everything
Not just a friend
Not someone who you call now and then
But someone who you be lovin' 'til the end
All I need, someone to be my shoulder
The one I can tell anything
The one who I can share my dreams with

[Pre-Chorus]
You look like my type a guy
I could see spendin' all my time
But I'm not even gonna lie
I wanna be more

[Chorus]
I wanna be the one
You givin' your heart to
I don't wanna be the one
You're into and we're through
I wanna be the one
Who keep it real with you
I don't wanna be the one
You just be talking to
I wanna be your all the time girl

[Verse 2]
15 years old but I know how I feel
See I'm lookin' for somethin' real
If you wanna know, here's the deal
I can be your girl, you can be my man
And just 'cause you little bit older
Don't mean I'm gonna let you be
Tellin' me how it has to be

[Pre-Chorus]
You look like my type a guy
I could see spendin' all my time
But I'm not even gonna lie
I wanna be more

[Chorus]
I wanna be the one
You givin' your heart to
I don't wanna be the one
You're into and we're through
I wanna be the one
Who keep it real with you
I don't wanna be the one
You just be talking to
I wanna be your all the time girl

[Bridge]
I wanna be
The first one you think of in the morning
The last one you think of at night
I wanna be
The one you call to say "I love you"
And you can't stand to say goodbye
I wanna be your all the time girl

[Chorus]
I wanna be the one
You givin' your heart to
I don't wanna be the one
You're into and we're through
I wanna be the one
Who keep it real with you
I don't wanna be the one
You just be talking to
I wanna be your all the time girl

Jhené Aiko

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo (born March 16, 1988) started her career under the moniker Jhené Aiko when she was 13 with the music group B2K. She explained how she later opted out of the deal to go back to high school and have her daughter Namiko in an interview back in July 2012 with Lozza

I was signed with Sony/EPIC when I was 12 years old and got a release from them when I was about 15 or 16 to focus on school. I started writing more and I had a child who’s now three years old.

After the failed release of her debut album, My Name Is Jhené back in 2003, Jhené released her debut mixtape, Sailing Soul(s) on March 16, 2011.
