[Pre-Chorus: Joji]
The devil came back
He's dancing in your path
So you're acting like you need me now, hey
So tell me if I'm mad
There's something in your laugh
That makes me fear the way you smile, hey

[Chorus: Joji]
It's hard to believe sometimes
We can pretend we're normal people
And I can repeat those times
We can pretend we're boring people
And it's hard to believe sometimes
We can pretend we're normal people
And I can repeat those times
And I can repeat those times, yeah

[Verse: rei brown]
New planet, yeah, we planted
Everything we wanted
Your fragrance, covalence
I'm bound to, I'm bound to you
But the longer that we hide
Everything starts to hit me harder, hit me harder
But we're safe on the inside
Yeah, I know we're fine

[Pre-Chorus: Joji]
The devil came back
He's dancing in your path
So you're acting like you need me now, hey
So tell me if I'm mad
There's something in your laugh
That makes me fear the way you smile, hey

[Chorus: Joji]
It's hard to believe sometimes
We can pretend we're normal people
And I can repeat those times
We can pretend we're boring people
And it's hard to believe sometimes
We can pretend we're normal people
And I can repeat those times (Those times)
And I can repeat those times, yeah (Those times)

Joji

George Kusunoki Miller ( ジョージ・ミラー, born September 18th, 1992), commonly known as Joji, is a New-York based producer and singer signed to 88rising. His artist name comes from the Japanese pronunciation of “George”, as he is half Australian/Japanese.

Originally producing comedy skits on YouTube under the name DizastaMusic, his first break came when he uploaded this video in 2011. This was the origin of his bizarre, inappropriate, YouTube community guideline-bending persona known as Filthy Frank, through which he gained internet prominence and millions of YouTube subscribers.

His more serious venture into music was compromised as a side-project to his comedy skits, and so he started releasing music under Joji in 2015 on his private SoundCloud page. He explained in a January 2016 Instagram post, he then decided to make his account public and released two singles from his then-upcoming project Chloe Burbank Volume 1: “you suck charlie” and “thom.” While he kept releasing material on his SoundCloud page.
