[Verse 1]
I feel so good, why you so mad?
And I'm so happy, and you hate that
But I love love, and I love life
And I love tripping in the desert with my best friends
Seeing spaceships in the sky

[Pre-Chorus]
And I love singing "fuck" in all my songs
'Cause the only people who got time to get offended
Are the ones who've probably never gotten off

[Chorus]
So get your shadow out of my sunshine
Out of my blue skies, out of my good times
So get your darkness out of my damn way
I'll be dancing in the rain
I'ma love you even though you hate me
I'ma love you even though you hate

[Verse 2]
We all got shit, who's to throw stones?
Live and let live, or just stay the fuck home
So if you love love (If you love love), if you love life (If you love life)
Then we can share this blue dot spinning endless in the night sky

[Pre-Chorus]
And if you love partying, then party on
And if you're here to throw shade
Then you're in the wrong place
Yeah, you're blocking my sun

[Chorus]
Go get your shadow out of my sunshine
Out of my blue skies, out of my good times
So get your darkness out of my damn way
I'll be dancing in the rain
I'ma love you even though you hate me
I'ma love you even though you hate

[Bridge]
I'll just keep on doing what I do best
Pissing off people who wanna be pissed
Hate is the poison, love's the elixir
If you don't like me you can suck my
(Can suck my, can suck my, can suck my)

[Chorus]
So get your shadow out of my sunshine
Out of my blue skies, out of my good times
So get your darkness out of my damn way
I'll be dancing in the rain
I'ma love you even though you hate me
I'ma love you even though you hate
I'ma love you even though you hate me
I'ma love you even though you hate
I'ma love you even though you hate me
I'ma love you even though you hate

Kesha

Kesha Rose Sebert, whose mononymous stage name was previously spelled Ke$ha, is an American singer-songwriter best known for hits like “Tik Tok” and “Praying.” Her mother, Pebe Sebert is also a songwriter, and the two have worked together on songs like “Learn to Let Go.”

In 2005, at age eighteen, Kesha signed a record deal with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records. Her first major recording was an uncredited feature on Flo Rida’s 2009 hit “Right ‘Round,” which she recorded after walking into a session between Flo and Dr. Luke. She released her debut album, Animal, the next year, after choosing from hundreds of songs, and the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lead single “Tik Tok” broke the record for the longest time for a female artist’s debut single to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Nine months after Animal dropped, Kesha rereleased it alongside Cannibal, an extended play featuring hits like “We R Who We R,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Blow.” In February 2011, Kesha kicked off her Get Sleazy Tour, which travelled through the Americas, Europe, and Australia. During the tour, she began writing for her sophomore album, Warrior, which was released in November 2012. She then embarked on a world tour, and was joined by future “Timber” collaborator Pitbull on the North American leg.
