[Chorus]
I haven't seen you since the summer
But you feel just like I remember

[Verse 1]
Time just blows, how about we rewind slow-mo
I could really use one of those nights 'til the sunrise
On that high life, when nobody could bring us down
I'm so alive, jumping fences, and cutting lines
I really meant it then, that one moment, I was hopeless
Mama said it'd take a boy like you to tie me down

[Pre-Chorus]
When I'm with you, I wanna do all kinds of stupid shit
Just for the night, let's make some memories that we might regret
Oh, I'll never forget you, oh

[Chorus]
I haven't seen you since the summer
I guess I missed you or whatever
It's been a long time since that summer
But you feel just like I remember

[Verse 2]
Star-filled skies
Take it in through my teared filled eyes, fuckin' beautiful
We both felt it, crushed like velvet
Call me selfish, but I really hope that you miss your flight

[Pre-Chorus]
When I'm with you, I feel like a teenager, we're dynamite
It's dangerous, but damn, it's fun, ain't that the point of life?
Oh, I'll never forget you, oh

[Chorus]
I haven't seen you since the summer
I guess I missed you or whatever
It's been a long time since that summer
But you feel just like I remember

[Bridge]
Every time I feel the spirit
I remember we were fearless
Every time I feel the spirit
Feel the spirit, feel the spirit
Every time I feel the spirit
I remember we were fearless
Every time I feel the spirit
Feel the spirit, feel the spirit (One of those nights)
I'm just having one of those nights
Thinking back to one of those nights (One of those nights)
I'll remember you for the rest of my life
I'm just having one of those nights

[Outro]
Having one of those nights
One of those nights, yeah
One of those nights

Kesha

Kesha Rose Sebert, whose mononymous stage name was previously spelled Ke$ha, is an American singer-songwriter best known for hits like “Tik Tok” and “Praying.” Her mother, Pebe Sebert is also a songwriter, and the two have worked together on songs like “Learn to Let Go.”

In 2005, at age eighteen, Kesha signed a record deal with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records. Her first major recording was an uncredited feature on Flo Rida’s 2009 hit “Right ‘Round,” which she recorded after walking into a session between Flo and Dr. Luke. She released her debut album, Animal, the next year, after choosing from hundreds of songs, and the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lead single “Tik Tok” broke the record for the longest time for a female artist’s debut single to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Nine months after Animal dropped, Kesha rereleased it alongside Cannibal, an extended play featuring hits like “We R Who We R,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Blow.” In February 2011, Kesha kicked off her Get Sleazy Tour, which travelled through the Americas, Europe, and Australia. During the tour, she began writing for her sophomore album, Warrior, which was released in November 2012. She then embarked on a world tour, and was joined by future “Timber” collaborator Pitbull on the North American leg.
