[Verse 1]
Sick of all these things I've tried
Sick of all these lies
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
Waking from my darkest dream
Bring me from my mind
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
No problem, I've got time to kill
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
Save everyone, I've had my fill
Nobody cares you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man

[Pre-Chorus]
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to

[Chorus]
We rip apart the flesh and live to see
And look at all the faces along the way
The terror grips me close and holds me tight
And hope I get to die yet another night

[Verse 2]
Throw a wrench into my world
Throw me in the fire
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
Death come over to me one time
We shouldn't get much higher
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
No problem, I've got time to kill
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man
Save everyone, I've had my fill
Nobody cares, you're just a bad man
Nobody wants you, you're a dead man

[Pre-Chorus]
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to
Do what you say, do what you want to

[Chorus]
We rip apart the flesh and live to see
And look at all the faces along the way
The terror grips me close and holds me tight
And hope I get to die yet another night

[Bridge]
Don't get close to me, safe for you
All this suffering left to do
Don't get close to me, safe for you
All this suffering left to do
All this suffering left to do
All this suffering left to do

[Chorus]
We rip apart the flesh and live to see
And look at all the faces along the way
The terror grips me close and holds me tight
And hope I get to die yet another night
We rip apart the flesh and live to see
And look at all the faces along the way
The terror grips me close and holds me tight
And hope I get to die yet another night

Bakersfield friends James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu and David Silveria formed the funk-rock band LAPD in 1989 and moved to Los Angeles with another friend Brian “Head” Welch as their roadie. Later, with Welch as second guitarist, the band named themselves Creep and recorded a demo with pal Ross Robinson.

However, when Shaffer and Welch visited family in Bakersfield, they met Jonathan Davis who added a darker, goth-tinged edge to the band’s heavy groove. Robinson

The band wasn’t dark yet; it had, like, killer grooves and good riffs, but there was some happy edge to it. And when (Davis) walked into the room, it went dark and goth. Basically, during the first song, to audition in the rehearsal room, he started freaking the hell out [laughs]. You couldn’t hear his voice, but you felt chills all over your body, and it was instantly like, “Oh my God, yeah – he’s the one.”
