[Intro]
Woop

[Verse 1]
Every day's the same
Feeling every shade of grey, ay
Playing by the rules when you wanna be led astray, ay
Gonna miss that train, don't take me home
I've got all I need right here
Soaking up the sound, gonna wash it all away

[Chorus]
Raining glitter down on us tonight
Covering us all in magic
Never even seen them stars so bright
As the look in your eyes
Raining glitter down on us tonight
No more hiding in the shadows
Ooh, you look like diamonds in the light
Everybody put your hands up to the sky
And let it rain
Whoop

[Verse 2]
We can let it rain
Let it rain down silver and gold, oh
We all want the same
Yeah, we're looking for that hand to hold, ooh
And that stolen kiss that feels so good
That it might just change your world
You can call us fools, but these dreams will never get old

[Chorus]
Raining glitter down on us tonight
Covering us all in magic
Never even seen them stars so bright
As the look in your eyes
Raining glitter down on us tonight
No more hiding in the shadows
Ooh, you look like diamonds in the light
Everybody put your hands up to the sky
And let it rain

[Bridge]
This is what it's about
Never stop
Whoop
Say my name, hold me tight
In the drop
Woop
'Cause we're not, no we're not giving up on love

[Chorus]
Raining glitter down on us tonight
Covering us all in magic
Never even seen them stars so bright
As the look in your eyes
Raining glitter down on us tonight
No more hiding in the shadows
Ooh, you look like diamonds in the light
Everybody put your hands up to the sky
And let it rain
Whoop

[Outro]
Baby let it rain
Whoop

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
