[Spoken Intro]
I met your boy, Sam Smith. I met him. He's a lovely, lovely person. He's my new bestie. I texted him, "I'm in your hometown." He's in, like, Montreal, somewhere far, far away. But he said hi and he misses ya. Um, so we gon' do a tribute, a shout out to my boy, Sam

[Verse 1]
I guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand
But I still need love 'cause I'm just a man
These nights never seem to go to plan
But I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

[Chorus]
Won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love it's clear to see
But darling, stay with me

[Verse 2]
Why am I so emotional?
No, it's not a good look, needs some self control
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

[Chorus]
Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love it's clear to see
Oh, but darling, stay with me

[Bridge]
So darling, darling, stay with me

[Chorus]
Won't you stay with me?
Because you're all I need
This ain't love it's clear to see
Oh, but darling, stay with me
Oh, and darling, stay with me
Darling, stay with me

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
