[Verse 1]
I know I haven't taken the time
To tell you that you're beautiful
And there's nobody's fault but mine
I hurt the one I love the most
And you're the one I love the most
I should've put away my phone
I know, I know, I know that you deserve better

[Pre-Chorus]
(Ooh) You can't dance to the beat of a heart that's broken
(Ooh) And you can't do this alone

[Chorus]
So from this day on, I won't let you down
I'm gon' right my wrongs, I'mma make you proud
'Cause I made my mistakes, probably more than I can count
So from this day on, I won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down

[Verse 2]
So instead of making an excuse, I'mma make it up to you
I'mma get myself together, I'll do what I gotta do (Yeah, yeah)
Anything I gotta do, make sure take care of you
'Cause I know, I know, I know that you deserve better

[Pre-Chorus]
You can't dance to the beat of a heart that's broken
And you can't do this alone

[Chorus]
So from this day on, I won't let you down
I'm gon' right my wrongs, I'mma make you proud
'Cause I made my mistakes, probably more than I can count
So from this day on, I won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down

[Bridge]
(Ooh) Let you down, I won't let you down
(Ooh) Let you down, I won't let you down
(Ooh) You can't dance to the beat of a heart that's broken
(Ooh) And you can't do this alone

[Chorus]
So from this day on, I won't let you down
I'm gon' right my wrongs and I'mma make you proud
'Cause I made my mistakes, probably more than I can count
So from this day on, I won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down
Won't let you down, won't let you down

[Outro]
Let you down, I won't let you down
Let you down, I won't let you down
Let you down, I won't let you down
Let you down, I won't let you down

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
