[Verse 1: Meghan Trainor & Nicole Scherzinger]
Beauty queen since seventeen
At least to me, I was born with it
Maybelline is good to me
But I believe I was born with it

[Pre-Chorus: Meghan Trainor with Nicole Scherzinger]
I'm workin', workin', workin' (Work, work, work)
I've been workin' on myself
But I can't take cred 'cause it's from somebody else
Watch me workin', workin', workin' (Work, work, work)
I've been sweatin' on myself
All them boys, all them girls, make 'em stop

[Chorus: Meghan Trainor & Nicole Scherzinger]
How you get that bod?
Is it from God? (Pussycat)
Did you work real hard?
G-E-N-E-T-I-C-S
How you get that bass?
Is it all fake?
Payin' in LA?
G-E-N-E-T-I-C-S
G-E-N-E-T-I-C-S

[Verse 2: Nicole Scherzinger, Meghan Trainor & Both]
My DNA is graded A
You see this face, I was born with it
I ain't ashamed to say one day I might upgrade
I could fuss with it

[Pre-Chorus: Meghan Trainor, Both & Nicole Scherzinger]
I'm workin', workin', workin' (Work, work, work)
I've been workin' on myself
But I can't take cred 'cause it's from somebody else
Watch me workin', workin', workin' (Work, work, work)
I've been sweatin' on myself
All them boys, all them girls, I make 'em stop

[Chorus: Meghan Trainor, Nicole Scherzinger & Both]
How you get that bod? (Bod)
Is it from God? (Pussycat)
Did you work real hard? (Oh)

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
