[Intro: Gerard Way]
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place
Everybody in the whole place, whole place, clap

[Verse 1: Gerard Way]
Mama, we all go to hell
Mama, we all go to hell
I'm writing this letter and wishing you well
Mama, we all go to hell

Oh, well now
Mama, we're all gonna die
Mama, we're all gonna die
Stop asking me questions, I'd hate to see you cry
Mama, we're all gonna jump!

[Chorus: Gerard Way with Ray Toro]
And when we go don't blame us, yeah
We'll let the fire just bathe us, yeah
You made us oh so famous
We'll never let you go
And when you go don't return to me, my love

[Verse 2: Gerard Way and (Crowd)]
Mama, we're all full of lies
Mama, we're meant for the flies
And right now they're building a coffin your size
Mama, we're all full of lies

(Sing this for me!)

Well, mother, what the war did to my legs and to my tongue
(You should've raised a baby girl)
I should have been a better son
If you could coddle the infection, they can amputate at once
You should have been, I could have been a better son

[Chorus: Gerard Way with Ray Toro]
And when we go don't blame us, yeah
We'll let the fire just bathe us, yeah
You made us oh so famous
We'll never let you go
She said, "you ain't no son of mine
For what you've done, they're gonna find a place for you
And just you mind your manners when you go
And when you go, don't return to me my love"

(Hands up!)

[Bridge: Gerard Way]
That's right
Mama, we all go to hell (Let me see your hands)
Mama, we all go to hell
It's really quite pleasant except for the smell
Mama, we all go to hell
Two, three, four
Ahh!
Mama, mama, mama, mama
Oh!
Mama, mama, mama, mama

And if you would call me your sweetheart
I'd maybe then sing you a song
But there's shit that I've done with this fuck of a...
(Let me see your hands!)
You would cry out your eyes all along

[Outro: Gerard Way]
We're damned after all
Through fortune and flame we fall
And if you could stay, then I'll show you the way
To return from the ashes you call
We all carry on when our brothers in arms are gone
So raise your glass high cause tomorrow we die
And return from the ashes you call

[Spoken: Gerard Way]
A surprise party?
For me?
You shouldn't have

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is an alt/punk/hardcore rock band that produced four studio albums and a compilation album over their initial twelve-year lifespan from 2001-2013. They then went on a six-year hiatus, until Halloween of 2019, when they announced a long-awaited revival of the band. They have touched the hearts of millions through their honest, raw lyrics and inspirational stories.

The band started after front-man and founder Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City. He felt compelled to empower people and make a difference in the world. As a result, he wrote the band’s first song, “Skylines And Turnstiles.” He shared the lyrics with his friend Matt Pelissier, who agreed to be the then-unnamed band’s drummer. Gerard then recruited Ray Toro, whom he used to be in a band with as the lead guitarist, and eventually invited his brother Mikey Way to be the bassist, and Frank Iero to be the rhythm guitarist.

Their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 and was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic. Because of this, some of the songs are lovingly referred to as the “attic demos.” The album’s copyright warning
