[Intro]
"They're... they're these terrors
And it feels as if somebody was gripping my
They're these terrors
And it's like it feels like as if somebody was gripping my throat
Like last night
They're not like tremors, they're worse than tremors
They're... they're these terrors
Like last night, they are not like tremors
They are worse than tremors
They are these terrors
And it's like, it feels like as if somebody
Was gripping my throat and squeezing and...
As if like somebody was gripping my throat"

Are you tired?
Do you think you need to sleep?

[Verse 1]
Some say, now suffer all the children
And walk away a savior or a madman and polluted
From gutter institutions
Don't you breathe for me, undeserving of your sympathy
'Cause there ain't no way that I'm sorry for what I did

[Pre-Chorus]
And through it all, how could you cry for me?
'Cause I don't feel bad about it
So shut your eyes, kiss me goodbye

[Chorus]
And sleep
Just sleep
The hardest part is letting go of your dreams

[Verse 2]
A drink for the horror that I'm in
For the good guys and the bad guys
For the monsters that I've been
Three cheers for tyranny, unapologetic apathy
'Cause there ain't no way that I'm coming back again

[Pre-Chorus]
And through it all, how could you cry for me?
'Cause I don't feel bad about it
So shut your eyes, kiss me goodbye

[Chorus]
And sleep
Just sleep
The hardest part's the awful things that I've seen

Just sleep
Just sleep
Just sleep
Just sleep
Just sleep
Just sleep

Wake up!
Wa-wake up!
Wa-wake up!
Wa-wake up!
Wa-wake up!
Wa-wake up!
Wake up!
Wake up!
Wake up!

Wake up!

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is an alt/punk/hardcore rock band that produced four studio albums and a compilation album over their initial twelve-year lifespan from 2001-2013. They then went on a six-year hiatus, until Halloween of 2019, when they announced a long-awaited revival of the band. They have touched the hearts of millions through their honest, raw lyrics and inspirational stories.

The band started after front-man and founder Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City. He felt compelled to empower people and make a difference in the world. As a result, he wrote the band’s first song, “Skylines And Turnstiles.” He shared the lyrics with his friend Matt Pelissier, who agreed to be the then-unnamed band’s drummer. Gerard then recruited Ray Toro, whom he used to be in a band with as the lead guitarist, and eventually invited his brother Mikey Way to be the bassist, and Frank Iero to be the rhythm guitarist.

Their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 and was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic. Because of this, some of the songs are lovingly referred to as the “attic demos.” The album’s copyright warning
