[Intro]
After all we've done to our faces and our fingers
You can run but you can't hide from this
Some would gasp, some would cry as they wheeled us in by gurney
And we laughed about the time we fell

[Verse 1]
Sometimes, I get the feeling she's watching over me
And other times, I'm feeling so alone
There's writing on the ceiling that only I can see
And other times, I feel like running home

[Chorus]
'Cause the time we have is really not so bad
Despite the reservations that you had
I don't care at all, I'm really not so sad
Despite the observation that you had

[Verse 2]
'Cause I met a guy in Cleveland, he said it's not so bad
And other times, you feel you wake up dead
And if you get the feeling you're watching after me
Well here's a clue, it's all just in my head

[Chorus]
'Cause the time we have is really not so bad
Despite the reservations that you had
And I don't give a fuck, it's really not so sad
Despite the observation that you had

[Interlude]
These darker days will never get me down
Gotta break, wipe that smile right off your face

[Bridge]
We got the right to anything we want
Even if they beat you, no I can't behave
We got the right, not for anything at all
Even if they kick you when you're
I don't care

[Chorus]
'Cause the time we have is really not so bad
Despite the reservations that you had
I don't care at all, I'm really not so sad
Despite the observation that you
I don't care at all

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is an alt/punk/hardcore rock band that produced four studio albums and a compilation album over their initial twelve-year lifespan from 2001-2013. They then went on a six-year hiatus, until Halloween of 2019, when they announced a long-awaited revival of the band. They have touched the hearts of millions through their honest, raw lyrics and inspirational stories.

The band started after front-man and founder Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City. He felt compelled to empower people and make a difference in the world. As a result, he wrote the band’s first song, “Skylines And Turnstiles.” He shared the lyrics with his friend Matt Pelissier, who agreed to be the then-unnamed band’s drummer. Gerard then recruited Ray Toro, whom he used to be in a band with as the lead guitarist, and eventually invited his brother Mikey Way to be the bassist, and Frank Iero to be the rhythm guitarist.

Their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 and was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic. Because of this, some of the songs are lovingly referred to as the “attic demos.” The album’s copyright warning
