[Intro]
Oh, woah, woo

[Verse 1]
I see you all the time lookin' fine, smilin' like the sunshine, yeah (smilin' like the sunshine)
I spend a lot of time, too much time daydreamin' that you were mine, yeah (daydreamin' that you were mine)

[Pre-Chorus]
And you don't even know how far I'd go just to make you happy (to make you happy), ooh yeah
Girl, in this world it's cold but baby, know, if should you cry, should you ever cry

[Chorus]
It won't be often
That you shed a tear or ever fear, girl, no
No, it won't be often, mmm
That I'll let you down
I tell you now, girl
No, it won't be often (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
It won't be often, no, no, mmm (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Say, say it won't be often, oh, woah (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
No, it won't be often, nah, nah (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)

[Verse 2]
Only time we'll ever have to fight
Is if we fightin' for our love that you guard down for life (life, life, life, life)
Only time I'll ever knock you down
Is when I take you to the bedroom and knock you down and down

[Pre-Chorus]
And you don't even know how far I'd go just to make you happy (to make you happy), ooh yeah
Girl, in this world it's cold but baby, know, if should you cry, should you ever cry

[Chorus]
It won't be often
That you shed a tear or ever fear, girl
No, it won't be often, oh
That I'll let you down
I tell you now, girl
No, it won't be often (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Oh, it won't be often, no, no, mmm (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Say it won't be often, oh, oh, oh (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
No, it won't be often, nah, nah (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Yeah, ayy

[Bridge]
Baby, nothin' about me is all that it should be
There'll be room to complain, yeah (woah, oh, woah, oh)
But if you believe in me, if you truly believe in me
Girl, the times you'll feel pain

[Chorus]
No, it won't be often (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Oh, it won't be often, no, no, mmm (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Say it won't be often, oh, oh, oh (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
No, it won't be often, nah, nah (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
No, no, oh, woah, oh
No, no, oh, woah, oh

Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor who first gained notoriety when he wrote 2004’s hit “Let Me Love You” for singer, Mario.

Ne-Yo (who was born Shaffer C. Smith) got his stage name from collaborator and producer, Big D Evans, who claimed that Ne-Yo “sees music as Neo sees the matrix.”

In addition to six studio albums, Ne-Yo has co-written with Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen of the Norwegian production team, Stargate. His hits include Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” and Rihanna’s “Take a Bow”.
