[Verse 1]
Everybody look at me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Everybody look at me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Everybody look at me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me
Everybody look at me, me
I walk in the door, you start screaming
Come on, everybody, what you here for?
Move your body around like a nympho
Everybody get your necks to crack around
All you crazy people, come on, jump around
All, all you crazy people
All, all you crazy people
All, all you crazy people come on, jump around
I wanna see you all on your knees, knees
You either wanna be with me, or be me

[Chorus]
Maneater, make you work hard
Make you spend hard, make you want all of her love
She's a maneater, make you buy cars
Make you cut cards, make you fall real hard in love
She's a maneater, make you work hard
Make you spend hard, make you want all of her love
She's a maneater, make you buy cars
Make you cut cards, wish you never ever met her at all
(At all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all)

[Verse 2]
And when she walks, she walks with passion
When she talks, she talks like she can handle it
When she asks for somethin', boy, she means it
Even if you never ever seen it
Everybody get your necks to crack around
All you crazy people, come on, jump around (Oh)
You doin' anything to keep her by your side
Because, she said she love you, love you long time
(Time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time)

[Chorus]
Maneater, make you work hard
Make you spend hard, make you want all of her love
She's a maneater, make you buy cars
Make you cut cards, make you fall real hard in love
She's a maneater, make you work hard
Make you spend hard, make you want all of her love
She's a maneater, make you buy cars
Make you cut cards, wish you never ever met her at all
(At all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all, at all)

[Outro]
Ah-ah-ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah-ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah-ah-ah, ah ah
Ah-ah-ah-ah, ah ah
She's a maneater, a man—
She's a maneater, a man—
She's a maneater, a man—
She's a maneater, a man—

She began her career in 1996 contributing vocals to Plains of Fascination’s “Walkin' 4 The Streets” and forming Nelstar. After leaving the group, Furtado released her debut single “Party’s Just Begun (Again)”.

Her debut album Whoa! Nelly was released in 2000 to worldwide success with hits such as “I’m Like a Bird”, “Turn Off the Light”, and “…On the Radio (Remember the Days)”. It received four Grammy nominations and one of the singles won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. It’s sold nine-million copies worldwide to date. Folklore is Furtado’s second album released in 2003. The album was not as successful as the previous one due to change in sound. “Try” and “Powerless (Say What You Want)” were the only top-ten hits from the album.
