[Verse 1]
You lookin' for a girl that'll treat you right?
How you lookin' for her in the daytime with the light?
You expect me to just let you hit it?
But will you still respect me if you get it?
You wanna get in my world, get lost in it?
You wanna get in my world, get lost in it?
You wanna get in my world, get lost in it?
You wanna get in my world, get lost in it?
Boy, I'm tired of runnin', let's walk for a minute

[Verse 2]
Roses are red, some diamonds are blue
Chivalry is dead, but you're still kinda cute
I'm out of this world, come with me to my planet
Get you on my level, do you think that you can handle it?
I'm a big girl, I can handle myself
But if I get lonely, I'ma need your help
Pay attention to me, I don't talk for my health
So does everybody else (Else, else, else, else, else)
What kind of girl do you take me for?

[Chorus]
Promiscuous boy, you already know
That I'm all yours, what you waiting for?
Promiscuous boy, let's get to the point
'Cause we're on a roll, you ready?

[Bridge]
Don't be mad, don't get mean
Don't be mad, don't get mean

[Verse 3]
I can see you with nothin' on
Feelin' on me before you bring that on
You know what I mean
I'm only trying to get inside of your brain
To see if you can work me the way you say
(To see if you can work me..)
Hey, is that the truth or are you talking trash?
Is your game M.V.P like Steve Nash?
(To see if you can work me...)
The way you say
(To see if you can work me...)
The way you say

[Chorus]
Promiscuous boy, you already know
That I'm all yours, what you waiting for?
Promiscuous boy, let's get to the point
'Cause we're on a roll, you ready?
The way you say
To see if you can work me the way you say
To see if you can work me the way you say
To see if you can work me the way you say
To see if you can work me the way you say (Work...)

[Chorus]
Promiscuous boy, I'm callin' ya name
But you're drivin' me crazy the way you're makin' me wait
Promiscuous boy, we're one in the same
So we don't gotta play games no more (More, more, more)
Bring that on
Bring that on
Bring that on
Bring that on

[Post-Chorus]
Promiscuous boy, promiscuous
Promiscuous boy, promiscuous
Promiscuous boy, promiscuous
Promiscuous boy, promiscuous

[Chorus]
Promiscuous boy, you already know
That I'm all yours, what you waiting for?
Promiscuous boy, let's get to the point
'Cause we're on a roll, you ready?
To see if you can work me the way you say (Work...)

Her debut album Whoa! Nelly was released in 2000 to worldwide success with hits such as “I’m Like a Bird”, “Turn Off the Light”, and “…On the Radio (Remember the Days)”. It received four Grammy nominations and one of the singles won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. It’s sold nine-million copies worldwide to date. Folklore is Furtado’s second album released in 2003. The album was not as successful as the previous one due to change in sound. “Try” and “Powerless (Say What You Want)” were the only top-ten hits from the album.
