[Ad libbed Intro]
Hey

[Verse 1]
Something's the matter baby, I'm going insane
Something inside of me keeps talkin' to my brain
Why can't I stop this demonic lust?
I know I shouldn't hold you, but my body says I must

[Chorus]
I'm possessed
And I don't know what I'm gonna do
I'm possessed, ooh
I'm stone crazy in love with you, baby

[Verse 2]
Something's the matter baby, you're all I see
Your voice is all I hear beggin' to me
I wish I didn't need you, wish I didn't care
I wish you'd find another soul, your love's too much to bare

[Chorus]
I'm possessed, oh
And I don't know what I'm gonna do
I'm possessed
I'm stone crazy in love with you, baby

[As lib]
Does anyone want this body?

[Verse 3]
Something's the matter baby, my mind's in a daze
Trippin' off your love, it's hard to relate
Can't stop this yearnin', Lord knows I've tried
Free me from your spell, I'm much too young to die

[Chorus]
I'm possessed, ooh
I don't know what I'm gonna do
I'm possessed, ooh
Stone crazy in love with you, baby
Does anyone want this body? Woo!
I'm possessed, yeah!
Stone crazy in love with you, baby
I'm possessed

[Interlude]
Gosh, I love it when the horns blow, everyone watch me dance!
Woo!
Woo!
Possessed
Listen, if you relate to the feeling, let me hear you say yeah!
Say yeah!
Hurt me
Woo!
Now, now, if you relate to the feeling, let me hear you say yeah!
Say yeah!
Alrighty, if you relate to the groove, let me hear you say ooh
Ooh!
Ooh
Ooh!
Oooh

[Interlude]
Have you ever had the feeling like someone was tearing you up into little bitty pieces and contemplating selling you for a jigsaw puzzle?

You are like an animal running around inside the cage of my heart. Aren't you due for a vacation, dirty liar?

[Outro]
Someone's in my body
Someone's in my body
Someone's in my box

Someone's in my body
Someone's in my body
Someone's in my box

Prince and the Revolution

“The Revolution” was originally the live backing band for Prince in the early years of his career. They first appeared in a studio capacity on 1999, but it wasn’t until 1984’s Purple Rain when they were officially credited. The band is noted for its diverse range of musicians, which wasn’t very common in the 1980s and inspired by what Sly Stone did with The Family Stone.

The most famous line-up consisted of Prince on lead vocals, guitar, and piano, Wendy Melvoin on guitar and vocals, Brown Mark on bass guitar and vocals, Lisa Coleman on keyboards, piano, and vocals, Matt “Doctor” Fink on keyboards and vocals, and Bobby Z on drums and percussion. The last albums where the Revolution was credited was 1985’s Around the World In A Day & 1986’s Parade.
