[Intro]
Embrace a battle
Engage all out war, yeah

[Verse 1]
Weak minded people they prey on
Prove we all want something more
A fear of a foreign invader
Delusions that are killing the truth
A desperate way to gain the faith
Emotions controlling the will
It will make no difference, it's the era we live
Each side bare witness to lies

[Pre-Chorus]
Wake up
Who's to blame?
Brainwashed politics

[Chorus]
Stand and defend
A means to an end

[Interlude]
Divide and conquer
The fall of faith
Doomed
Won't sit and wait for decisions
It's only a matter of time

[Verse 2]
A day will come, it's on the way
The terror will come to an end
It makes no difference, the era we live
Each side bare witness to lies

[Pre-Chorus]
Wake up
Who's to blame?
Brainwashed politics
Wake up
Who's to blame?
Brainwashed politics

[Chorus]
Stand and defend
A means to an end

[Verse 3]
Lost in disbelief
Failed democracy
Lost in misbelief
Filled with hypocrisy

[Pre-Chorus]
Wake up
Who's to blame?
Brainwashed politics

[Chorus]
Stand and defend
A means to an end
Lost in disbelief
Where is my relief?

Sepultura

Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band from Belo Horizonte. Formed in 1984 by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, the band was a major force in the death metal, thrash metal and groove metal genres during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their later experiments drawing influence from alternative metal, world music, nu metal, hardcore punk and industrial metal.

The first Sepultura show was on December 4th, 1984. The band played two songs that never were re-recorded or released.

The band name comes from a Portuguese translation of Motörhead’s song “Dancing on Your Grave” which is “Dançando na sua Sepultura”. Sepultura means “grave” (sepulchre) in Portuguese (and in some other Latin-based languages). Originally, they wanted to call the band Tropa de Choque (Shock Troops), but found that the name had been used before.
