Well, I tried
But I just can't win
That's alright
I'll see you again

Now I know
I gotta let you go
Now I see:
You were never meant for me

Drowning in sorrow
Can't see tomorrow
Blind is the weakness
All I miss is the sweetness

That's you-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
What can I do-ooh-ooh
I still love you

I remember the love
The love in your eyes
When you took my hand
And said goodbye

Now I know
I gotta let you go
Now I see:
I gotta let you free

Drowning in sorrow
Can't see tomorrow
Blind is the weakness
Oh I'm missin' the sweetness

That's you-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
I think I'm blue-ooh-ooh
What can I do

[Guitar Solo]

Well, maybe
I'll always love you
Be thinkin' of you
'til you come back again

No, I'm not saying
That we will be lovers
I'm just praying
We'll be friends again

Now I see
I gotta set you free
Now I know
I've gotta let you go

Drowning in sorrow
Can't see tomorrow
Blind is the weakness
Oh I'm missin' the sweetness

That's you-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
What can I do-ooh-ooh
Baby, I still love you

Walk on pretty baby
Walk on to me maybe
Walk on pretty baby
Don't get my smile

Walk on pretty baby
Walk on to me maybe
Walk on pretty baby
Don't get my smile

Shakespears Sister

Shakespear’s Sister is a pop-rock duo formed in 1988 by Siobhan Fahey, who left Bananarama after disagreements with the musical direction the band was going. The band was originally intended to be Fahey’s solo project, but immediately became a duo after she recruited American singer Marcella Detroit (aka Marcy Levy).
