I don't care who you are
I know who I am
I don't reach for the stars
Things just happen
I don't keep what I write
Somebody else can
I don't mean to be mean
I just am
Oh dear
Did I crash my car again?
Did I kill another friend?
Oh life's so tragic
All the signs were pointing right
But I took a left turn
Looking back I should have braked
But I've never learned
Everyone I ever loved
Broken in two
But if we're comparing scars
I got more than you
Oh dear
Did I crash my car again?
Did I kill another friend?
Oh life's so tragic
... Oh dear oh dear
The trees are green....
I touch the sky, I kiss the ground
The wheels underneath me keep spinning around and around
Oh come on, come on, come on
And take me home yeah, oh take me home daddy
You take control
I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't
Yes you can, yes you can)

Shakespears Sister

Shakespear’s Sister is a pop-rock duo formed in 1988 by Siobhan Fahey, who left Bananarama after disagreements with the musical direction the band was going. The band was originally intended to be Fahey’s solo project, but immediately became a duo after she recruited American singer Marcella Detroit (aka Marcy Levy).
