[Verse 1]
When life gives you lemons
They pour down from the heavens
This is what you've got to do
Make some lemonade
Drink it in the shade
Don't let a bad day get to you

[Pre-Chorus]
You've got no money to your name
But all you need is heart anyway

[Chorus]
You can't buy love
But you can make it
You can't make sunshine
But you can make love

[Verse 2]
When you get suspicious
That someone wants your wishes
Even more than you do
Don't waste your time fighting
Better spend it finding what you really want for you

[Pre-Chorus]
You don't need money and you don't need fame
Cause all you need is heart anyway

[Chorus]
You can't buy love
But you can make it
You can't make sunshine
But you can make love
No, you can't buy love
Oh, but you can make it
You can't make sunshine
But you can make love

[Bridge]
Without love we would be blind
There'd be no kind
In this little world
There'd be no girl
There'd be no boy
There'd be no joy

[Chorus]
You can't buy love
But you can make it
You can't make sunshine
But you can make love
No, you can't buy love
But you can make it
You can't make sunshine
But you can make love
I said you can't buy love
But you can make it
Oh, you can't make sunshine
But you can make love
Uh huh, yeah!

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
