[Verse 1]
If ever a love was meant to last
It's you and me
From the beginning of time
Till the end we will be
Happily ever after
You and me
'Cause that's the way it's suppose to be
It's suppose to be

[Chorus]
She can hold
But she don't love you like I do
She can squeeze you
But she don't love you like I do
She can kiss you
But she don't love you like I do
She can hold you
But she doesn't love you like I do

[Verse 2]
If ever a love ended much to fast
It's you and me
She stole your heart right from my hands
A tragedy, baby
'Cause she, she won't be there when the lights fade
No, she won't be there just to hold you down
You'll look around and you'll think of me
And how our love was meant to be

[Chorus]
She can hold
But she don't love you like I do
She can squeeze you
But she don't love you like I do
She can kiss you
But she don't love you like I do
She can hold you
But she doesn't love you like I do

[Bridge]
We should be, happily
Ever after, you and me
'Cause that's the way it's supposed to be
Baby, come back to me

[Chorus]
She can hold
But she don't love you like I do
She can squeeze you
But she don't love you like I do
She can kiss you
But she don't love you like I do
She can hold you
But she doesn't love you like I do
