(What you gonna say and what you gonna do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do)

Too good
You could
Be so misunderstood
Snow pure
Demure
Don't feel so insecure

Heaven would be lonely without you
You satisfy the need in me
No one makes me feel the way you do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do

(What you gonna say and what you gonna do)
Maligned
You'll find
(What you gonna say and what you gonna do)
A strength to ease your mind
(What you gonna say and what you gonna do)
Trust fate
Relate
(What you gonna say and what you gonna do)
This trial you'll tolerate

Summer would be bitter without you
You satisfy the need in me
Sunshine couldn't warm me like you do
Devotion's what you read in me

(All I ever wanted)
Was to be with you
Just to be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Just to be with you
To be free with you

Review
Brand new
You know you'll see it through
From now
I vow
They'll take what you allow

Paradise so dreary without you
I couldn't last a day without you
Nothing else could take the place of you
You know I wouldn't stay without you

(All I ever wanted)
Was to be with you
Just to be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Just to be with you
To be free with you
Yeah
(All I ever wanted)
Be with you
Come on, be with you
To be free with you
Totally with you
Hey
(All I ever wanted)
Be with you
I believe in you
I believe in you
Hey, hey, yeah

(What you gonna say and what you gonna do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do
What you gonna say and what you gonna do)

(All I ever wanted)
Just to be with you
Just to be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Want to be with you
Got to be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Was to be with you
Just to be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Just to be with you
To be free with you
Yeah
(All I ever wanted)
Be with you
Come on, be with you
Be with you
All that I want to do
Hey, be with you
(All I ever wanted)
Come on, be with you
Everything that I do
Yes, I do it for you
Yeah
(All I ever wanted)
Be with you
Come on, be with you
And my life is for you
Got to be with you

The Human League

The Human League are a synth pop band from Sheffield, England, formed in 1977. They generated a string of synthesizer-backed dance pop hits throughout the 80s. David Bowie dubbed the group “the sound of the future” in 1981.

The band is best known for its third studio album released in 1981, Dare! The fourth single from Dare, “Don’t You Want Me,” catapulted to #1 in the UK and US.

Phil Oakey is the only core member of the group. The band’s first incarnation was as an arty all-male synthesizer group, composed of Oakey, Martyn Ware, and Ian Craig Marsh. In the 1980s, Ware and Marsh left the group after continued conflicts with Oakey—they went on to form Heaven 17.
