Ready, Greg? (I don't care)
Kevin? (Yeah!)
James? (Satan!)
Alright, fellas. Lets go!

Oh its been getting so hard
Living with what society's done to me
Our dreams are getting so strange
We'd like to tell you everything we see

There's a cop in the back
And a matter of fact
His eyes were as red as the sun
And this skinhead in the corner
Lets no one ignore him
He thinks he's the scariest one

Oh yeah!
It was like lightning!
Everybody was frightening!
And the music was trashy!
And we all started thrashing!

Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

And the cop in the back
Said everyone attack
And it turned into
A Ballroom Blitz
And the girl in the corner
Said "Boy, i wanna warn ya
It'll turn into a Ballroom Blitz
Ballroom Blitz!
Ballroom Blitz!

We're reaching out for something
Drinking beer is all we ever do
We softly call you over
When you appear there's nothing left of you

And the cop in the back
Is ready to crack
As he raises his club to the sky
And the girl in the corner
Is everyone's mourner
She could kill you with a wink of her eye

Yeah, it was electric!
So frantically hectic!
And the music was trashy!
And they all started crashing!

Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

And the cop in the back
Said everyone attack
And it turned into
A Ballroom Blitz
And the girl in the corner
Said "Boy, i wanna warn ya
It'll turn into a Ballroom Blitz
Ballroom Blitz!
Ballroom Blitz!

It's its, a Ballroom Blitz!
It's its, a Ballroom Blitz!
It's its, a Ballroom Blitz!
Yeah! It's its, a Ballroom Blitz!

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
