[Verse 1]
Deep inside secret's burning
Should have known all the while what's true
I went along, to fool myself
Can't go on, I can't escape it

[Chorus]
All along
I think I really knew
It was there in the words unspoken
All along
Still believed in you
Now I'm leaving here betrayed and broken

[Verse 2]
Close my eyes from the burning
All along, all the while it's true
Take it on, or turn your back
Either way, you can't escape it

[Chorus]
All along
I think I really knew
It was there in the words unspoken
All along
Still believed in you
Now I'm leaving here betrayed and broken

[Interlude]
Ooooh
Ooooh

[Chorus]
All along
I think I really knew
It was there in the words unspoken
All along
Still believed in you
Now I'm leaving here betrayed and broken

[Outro]
All along
I still believe in you

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
