[Verse 1]
Lights out and pull the shades
Look back on better days
Alone now with this pain that's burning
No one feels like me
I blacken all the walls
I'm blocking all the calls
Once here, but now you're gone
It's hurting, and so

[Chorus]
Here in my room
Dark as my soul
Grief is the weight
Breaking these bones

[Verse 2]
Lock down and close the door
I've heard it all before
That time can heal all wounds
If only I could turn back time
I'm reaching far behind
Without you, I am blind
Once here, but now you're gone
It's hurting, and so

[Chorus]
Herе in my room
My bed is my throne
Tears arе the weight
Breaking these bones
And so here, in my room
Dark as my soul
Grief is the weight
Breaking these bones
Breaking these bones

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
