[Verse 1]
Look at you, soldier boy, now
With that big gun in your little hand
As you patrol this foreign land
Hear the mine that clicks beneath your feet

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, whoa
Now do you see the light?
Fading while your world is crumbling
Out on patrol
And all you can do is sit and stare
What revelation have you now?
What culmination to your speck of life?
Your moment in time

[Verse 2]
As you sit here all alone
Will your buddies come and save your life?
But as the enemy appears
See your life flash before your eyes

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, whoa
Now do you see the light?
Fading while your world is crumbling
Out on patrol
And all you can do is sit and stare
What revelation have you now?
What culmination to your speck of life?
Your moment in time

[Chorus]
Hey, hey, whoa
Now do you see the light?
Fading while your world is crumbling
Out on patrol
And all you can do is sit and stare
What revelation have you now?
What culmination to your speck of life?
Your moment in time

[Outro]
It's your life
It's your life
It's your life
(Ohh, ohh, ohh)
It's your life
It's your life
It's your life
(Ohh, ohh, ohh)
Uno dos tres cuatro!

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
