[Chorus]
I'm so sick of hearing old sad songs
’Cause it makes me think of you
And I'm so sick of knowing that you're gone
But the sad songs help me through
We could’ve been the greatest, woah, woah
We could've been the greatest, oh, woah
But now the sad songs help me through

[Verse]
I don't understand the way it happened
I guess I take these things for granted
I don't think that you take advantage
And now you're gone, I'm in a panic
The way we ask, the way we take things
The highs and lows, the way wе break these
Thе fast and slow, the road we make seems
To lead us back to the same faces

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I don't wanna turn the radio on
But I'll feel better when I hear a sad song
Nothing’s worst than the cold feeling you’re gone
But I'll do better when the radio, radio

[Chorus]
I’m so sick of hearing old sad songs
'Cause it makes me think of you
And I'm so sick of knowing that you're gone
But the sad songs help me through
We could’ve been the greatest, woah, woah
We could've been the greatest, oh, woah
But now the sad songs help me through

[Verse]
And I don't understand the way it happened
I guess I take these things for granted
I don't think that you took advantage
But now you're gone, I'm in a panic
The way we ask, the way we take things

And I'm so sick of knowing that you're gone
But the sad songs help me through (Sad songs)
We could've been the greatest, woah, woah
We could've been the greatest, oh, woah
But now the sad songs help me through

[Outro]
Now I don't wanna turn the radio on
But I'll feel better when I hear a sad song
Nothing's worst than the cold feeling you're gone
But I'll do better when the radio, radio's on
