[Verse 1]
I don't care if my lady's gone
As long as you give me just what I want
I've been losin' my direction
Got to find a new connection

You have wasted the love I tasted
Now I'm really gettin' hungry more and more
Been a long time, had a bad sign
Tell me what am I fighting for?

[Hook]
Let me know you feel it
You know I really need it
Keep on pushin' for more
Lay down, stay down

[Verse 2]
Lookin' for trouble, I guess that's right
When I was young I was taught to fight
It's been long gone since I had known
Now I'm heading for some more

[Hook]
Let me know you feel it
You know I really need it
Keep on pushin' for more
Lay down, stay down

[Bridge]
I got something to find
There's one thing I really need
I'm gonna tell you right now
Lay down, stay down

[Hook]
Let me know you feel it
You know I really need it
Keep on pushin' for more
Lay down, stay down

[Bridge]
I got something to find
There's one thing I really need
I'm gonna tell you right now
Lay down, stay down

Whitesnake

Whitesnake are a rock band formed in England in 1978 by David Coverdale, after his departure from his previous band Deep Purple. Their early material has been compared by critics to the blues rock of Deep Purple, but they slowly began moving toward a more commercially accessible rock style. By the turn of the decade, the band’s commercial fortunes changed and they released a string of UK top 10 albums, Ready an' Willing (1980), Come an' Get It (1981), Saints & Sinners (1982) and Slide It In (1984), the last of which was their first to chart in the US and is certified 2x platinum.
