When the world is crashing down
And you're left alone on shaky ground
It seems like losing hope's
The only way to cope

You can turn around and see
That every precious memory
Is still inside of you
Just let it shine on through

Don't fade away
Nothing's what it seems
You're lost and in between
But you'll find yourself again
Don't fade away, don't fade away

Take your time and think it through
You've got everything in front of you
It's like a brand new page
Each and every day

Don't fade away
Nothing's what it seems
You're lost and in between
But you'll find yourself again

Don't fade away
Hold on to your dreams
Through waves of suffering
The tide will turn again
Don't fade away

All that you've seen
All that you've done
Don't day it's over
You hold the key
Unlock the sun

Don't fade away
Nothing's what it seems
You're lost and in between
But you'll find yourself again

Don't fade away
Hold on to your dreams
Through waves of suffering
The tide will turn again
Don't fade away
Don't fade away, don't fade away
Don't fade away, don't fade away
Don't fade away, don't fade away

Don't fade away
When the world is crashing down
Don't fade away
And you're left alone on shaky ground
Don't fade away...

Willie Nelson

Willie Hugh Nelson (April 29, 1933) is a singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Abbott, TX and raised by his grandparents during the great Depression.

He achieved some success in the early 60’s as a crooner, a la Bobby Darin, but turned away from popular music to Country in the late 60s. His albums Shotgun Willie (1973), Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978) made him one of the most recognized artists in country music.

Nelson has released over 70 studio and live albums in his career, and still records and performs today.
