[Verse 1]
Be tormented by me, babe
Wonder, wonder how I do
How's the weather? Am I better?
Better now that there's no you?
Drink tequila for me, babe
Let it hit you cold and hot
Let your feelings be revealing that you can't forget me

[Pre-Chorus]
Not a flower on the wall
I am growing ten feet, ten feet tall
In your head and I won't stop
Until you forget me, get me not

[Chorus]
In your fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
Fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
This emotion, I feel it
This emotion, you feel it
All that we could do with this emotion

[Verse 2]
Paint a picture for me, boy
Where the sky's forever blue
Tell me there is nothing I can't have and nothing you won't do
Toss and turn without me, boy
Let it hit you cold and hot
All my kisses, say you'll miss it and you can't forget me

[Pre-Chorus]
Not a flower on the wall
I am growing ten feet, ten feet tall (Tall)
In your head and I won't stop
Until you forget me, get me not

[Chorus]
In your fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
Fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
This emotion, I feel it
This emotion, you feel it
All that we could do with this emotion

[Bridge]
What if I turn the lights right down?
I feel it
What if I turn the lights right down?
You feel it
You and me in the dark right now
I feel it

[Chorus]
In your fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
Fantasy, dream about me
And all that we could do with this emotion
This emotion, I feel it (What if I turn the lights right down?)
This emotion, you feel it
All that we could do with this emotion

Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Born in 1985, she first came to fame by finishing in third place on the TV show Canadian Idol. Shortly afterwards, she released her debut album, Tug Of War, including the Canadian top 40 singles “Tug Of War” and “Bucket.”

Three years later, she released the single “Call Me Maybe” and planned to follow it with what would have been her second album, Curiosity. However, after the song caught the ear of fellow Canadian, Justin Bieber, he referred her to his manager, Scooter Braun, which led to her signing an international deal with Interscope Records. Before long, it became one of 2012’s most enduring hits, racking up over a billion YouTube views and topping the charts in 21 countries, including the US and Canada. The aforementioned Curiosity album was cut down to EP length, and work continued on her eventual sophomore LP, Kiss. Released in September 2012, it also featured the Owl City collaboration “Good Time”, which reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jepsen returned in March 2015 with “I Really Like You,” the lead single from her third studio album. The song received a more muted reception than her breakout hit–although it did reach #2 in the United Kingdom–and consequently, the album, E•MO•TION, failed to make a substantial impact chartwise. Despite this, the album drew in a new wave of fans with its more experimental and mature sound; such was the amount of praise among both the public and critics that a follow-up EP of album outtakes–E•MO• Side B–was released on the album’s first anniversary.
