Let my love surround you boy
Let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
You don't appreciate my love
And when you try, you never quite succeed
Deception fits you like a glove
And when you lie, it drowns the fire in me
Baby, move close to me and fulfill my desire
My only intention is taking you higher
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Boy you seduced me from the start
And took control of every part of me
You say we'll never be apart
When we're alone inside my fantasy
Baby, I'm feeling so lonely when you're out of sight
Put your arms around me and take me tonight
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Anything that's from within, you aren't so interested in
Is it love that brought you here
You feel so close but you're not near
If all ends tomorrow, will I let you go or will I follow?
I hope this ain't a game
Am I just a girl who's touched your heart in vain
Oh baby
Love me up and down
Let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Love me up and down let my love surround you
Let my love surround you baby
I want to be yeah
My love, Let my love surround you baby
I'm gonna make you feel so good to me
So we'll never be apart
Baby, make me feel so good
All I wanna do is sugar
Give it to me, give it to me, give it to me baby

CeCe Peniston

CeCe Peniston is an R&B and dance singer/songwriter known for her international ‘90s pop hit “Finally.” The Phoenix, Arizona native got her start doing demos and background vocals for rapper Overweight Pooch. Though she didn’t have a lot of time to work on her debut album Finally, it still yielded multiple hit singles like “Keep On Walkin,” “We Got a Love Thang,” and the sentimental soul ballad “Inside That I Cried” that landed in the Top 20 Billboard charts in Pop, Dance and/or R&B categories.

For her 1994 follow-up, Thought Ya Knew, CeCe forged into more R&B territory with the Soulshock & Karlin-produced lead single “I’m In The Mood”. The album also yielded the hit singles “I’m Not Over You” and “Hit By Love”.

Label shake-ups affected the success of her third album I’m Movin' On, but the singles “Movin' On” and her remake of Jocelyn Brown’s dance classic “Somebody Else’s Guy” still made impact on both sides of the Atlantic.
