[Verse 1]
I got something in my head, gotta get it out
It’s darker than the forest when the moon’s gone
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I got something in my mouth that I can’t shout
Makes God’s voice not seem so loud
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 2]
I got a smile in my pants, it’s a secret
If I showed you, you’d think I’m a creep but
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I saw a girl with a baby in her handbag
Tried to put it in the cash machine
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 3]
I’m replacing my addiction with an ice mint
That’s a flavour, my favourite, it’s expensive
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I got a knife in the kitchen, but it’s blunt now
And my arm ain’t so sharp either
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 4]
I got a real good plan for a butter knife
Heats up so cold, but it cuts right
And I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I got discount products in the freezer
I got an appetite, that ain’t gonna please her
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 5]
I got a broken down plan, but it’s forming
Gonna stick to it like a tongue-ring
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I got a ‘what I wanna say’ but it’s wrong now
And I can’t say 'faggot’ in public
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 6]
I need a shower like a skunk in Hawaii
Saving water and women shower weekly
And I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I’d like a big warm hug from my God please
But it’s cool if any other God hugs me
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see, see, see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 7]
I got white stains of sad relief
Brown stains on my teeth
Now you don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I met a man with a red sweater on him
His computer broke like mine did
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Verse 8]
I got a mother’s day card in the postbox
Didn’t know how much those stamps cost
I don’t wanna see, mum, thanks for having me

I got a bad fear of wasting all my time
But I guess it doesn’t matter if the world dies
I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

(No way now) I don’t wanna see (no way now)...

[Outro]
I’m gonna call my first kid Anakin
And I’m scared that if he’s bad, I might hit him
And I don’t wanna see, I don’t wanna see

I got something in my head, gotta get it out
It’s darker than the sun when the sun’s out...

Cosmo Jarvis

Critic, journalist, sometime musician, onetime actor, and full-time Midwesterner Mark Deming provides a discographic-based biography for Cosmo Jarvis:

“Singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Cosmo Jarvis has earned a devoted following for his witty, often satiric tunes about the foibles of relationships and contemporary life, often rooted in personal experience, as well as his own self-produced videos and short subjects that have given his work a global online audience. Harrison Cosmo Krikoryan Jarvis was born on September 1, 1989 in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Jarvis' family relocated to the United Kingdom when he was young, and he grew up in Devon in Southwest England. Jarvis began writing songs when he was only 12 years old, around the same time he began making short films using a VHS video camera. While Jarvis' early videos were little more than documentation of pranks played with his friends, with time he began constructing more complex narratives, and similarly his songs began to evolve, ranging from folk-inspired acoustic guitar pieces and elaborate pop tunes to tongue-in-cheek hip-hop tracks.

At the age of 16, Jarvis quit school to focus on his creative work, and in 2009 he wrote and produced his debut album, an 18-song set called Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch, which was released by the British indie label Wall of Sound. The album combined Jarvis' observational tunes with a cycle of songs reflecting the emotional turmoil of his parents' stormy relationship. Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch received enthusiastic notices from the British music press, but it didn’t sell especially well, and Jarvis teamed with 25th Frame for his second release, Is the World Strange or Am I Strange? A track from the album, “Gay Pirates,” became an Internet sensation after Jarvis' low-budget video for the song was endorsed in a Twitter post by actor and author Stephen Fry, and subsequent airplay helped make the second album a commercial success. While continuing to tour, write songs, and record music, Jarvis has also been writing and directing a feature film, provisionally titled The Naughty Room. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi"
