[Verse 1]
It's the end of the night
There's no time for talking
And I know it ain't right
But I see where it's going

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause we've been running 'round in circles now for days
There's somethin' different 'bout the way you call my name
And I don't wanna fight, with the one I'm loving

[Chorus]
So why do I always lose?
Before I win
Before it ends
So why do I always lose?
Before I win
Before it ends

[Verse 2]
We can't find the love
We don't know how we lost it
When we both get it wrong
And we don't know who caused it

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause we've been running 'round in circles now for days
There's something missing in the way you call my name
(Call my name, yeah)
We both lost the love
We don't know how we lost it

[Chorus]
So why do I always lose?
Before I win
Before it ends
So why do I always lose?
Before I win (Before I win, yeah)
Before it ends

[Bridge]
Love's not lost if you still feel it
But faith's not gone if you believe it
You're never mine 'til the end of the night
We're not innocent 'til we both see it

[Chorus]
Why do I always lose?
Before I win (Oh)
Before it ends
So why do I always lose?
Before I win (Yeah)
Before it ends
So why do I always lose?
Before I win (Before I win, yeah)
Before it ends

[Outro]
Before I win
Before it ends

Liam Payne

Liam James Payne is an English R&B-pop singer-songwriter. He made his debut as a singer when he auditioned as a solo artist for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. He reauditioned as a solo artist in 2010, where he was put into a group along with four other contestants, to form the boy band that would later become known as One Direction.

Since joining One Direction, Payne, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and former bandmate Zayn Malik, have released five commercially successful albums, performed on four worldwide tours, and won multiple awards, including several BRIT Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. He has worked independently under the monikers “Big Payno” and “Payno”, creating remixes for songs such as British pop singer Cheryl’s single “I Don’t Care”.

When One Direction first announced their hiatus in 2016, Liam said that he would stay in the music, but not go into a solo singing career. On May 10, 2017, Liam announced the release of his debut single “Strip That Down”. It became one of the biggest-selling debuts of all time, one of the most streamed songs of Summer 2017, making it the biggest selling song by any member from One Direction at the time.
