[Verse 1]
Oh you and me girl
Got a lot of love in store
And it flows through you
And it flows through me
And I love you so much more...

Than my life
I can see beyond forever
Everything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
(Oh you make my world a summer day)
Oh you make my world a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away?

[Hook]
Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

[Verse 2]
Oh you and me girl got a highway to the sky
We can turn away from the night and day
And the tears we had to cry...

You're my life
I can see a new tomorrow
Ev'rything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
(Love is such a beautiful thing yeah, love is such a beautiful thing)
Girl you are to me (You are to me)
The light above (The light above)
There for all to see (For all to see)
Our precious love

[Hook]
Nobody gets too much heaven no more (Oooo, heaven anymore)
It's as high as a mountain (Ohh)
And harder to climb (So hard)

Nobody gets too much heaven no more (Nobody)
It's as high as a mountain (High as a mountain)
And harder to climb (Ohhh)

Oh babe
No more, no more, harder yeah
C'mon my baby
C'mon my lady

[Hook]
Nobody gets too much heaven no more (Oo baby)
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Nobody gets too much heaven no more (Oh babe)
It's as high as a mountain (Sooooo high)
And harder to climb (It's hard to climb)

Nobody gets too much heaven no more (Oh no, heaven anymore)
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Nobody gets too much heaven no more (C'mon yeah, oh c'mon)
It's as high as a mountain (It's as high as a, as a mountain)
And harder to climb

Portrait (R&B)

Often thought of as one of New Jack Swing’s one-hit wonder groups, Portrait is a vocal quartet made up of South Central, L.A. natives Michael Angelo Saulsberry and Eric Kirkland, Irving Washington III of Providence, Rhode Island, and Phillip Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They made it big with their 1992 hit “Here We Go Again!” The track reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Portrait lent their vocals to various projects in the two years following the release of their debut self-titled album, including the Quincy Jones track “Slow Jams” on the 1994 album Q’s Jook Joint.

They released their second album, All That Matters, in 1995, which didn’t receive as much commercial success as their debut album, leading them to decide to focus on catering to a Japanese audience with their third album, Picturesque, in 1996.
