Every time I think about the things we used to do
Places we used to go
I just want to go back to those days
And relive it all over again with you
Oooh!

Daydreaming of a time you and I used to make sweet love
Reminiscing of the secrets, that we shared between both of us
Puts a smile on my face when I think how we run and play, yeah
Walked in the park after dark to get a kiss in our hideaway

It reminds me of the good old days
It reminds me of the good old days, yeah

We used to talk about our dreams
And how we would live and bathe, girl
Remember playing on the phone with each other for hours
Hours, yeah
And when you walk by me and smile, I swear I smell peppermints
You and me young and free, holding hands, so innocent

And it reminds me of the good old days, yeah
It reminds me of the good old days, yeah

(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
Flipping back through the photographs, girl
(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
(Doo-Doo, Doo-Doo-Doo)
All of the memories got me wishing I had you back
(I had you back)
Oooh, in my arms, girl
(Back in my arms)

Cause it reminds me
It reminds me of the good old days, of the good all days
When you used to love me, baby
Hoo!
It reminds me of the good all days
We vowed from our heart, yeah
That we would never part, babe
It reminds me of the good all days, girl
I remember when weekday, late night coming in
(It reminds me of the good old days)
Memories of you and me, making love until the week
Yeah, baby
(It reminds me of the good old days)
Girl, it reminds me
Yeah-Yeah
Used to get it, girl
(It reminds me of the good old days)
Any time, anywhere, didn't care
Hoo!
(Yeah)
Hoo!
Hoo!
Walked in the park, baby
(It reminds me of the good old days)
Kissing at the door, baby
You and me running free, getting back the memories, girl
(It reminds me of the good old days)

R. Kelly

Robert Kelly is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, where he first started performing under the “L” subway tracks as a teenager. This led into his first album, Born Into the 90’s, being released in 1992 as a collaboration between R. Kelly and Public Announcement. R. Kelly wrote and produced the entire album, which contained the #1 R&B hits “Honey Love” and “Slow Dance,” along with the Top 10 R&B hits “She’s Got That Vibe” (#7) and “Dedicated” (#9). The following year, Kelly went on to become a solo act.

In 1993, he released his first solo album, 12 Play, featuring the hits “Bump N' Grind” and “Your Body’s Callin'.” He released a self-titled album in 1995 featuring the hits “Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)” and “You Remind Me of Something,” while his 1998 double album, R., featured a string of hits, including “I Am Your Angel” with Celine Dion, “When a Woman’s Fed Up,” and his Grammy Award-winning song “I Believe I Can Fly” from the Space Jam soundtrack.

The success of these albums led to him becoming an in-demand producer in the ‘90s, writing and producing #1 hits for Aaliyah (“Back & Forth”), Janet Jackson (“Any Time, Any Place (Remix)”), Changing Faces (“G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T”), Maxwell (“Fortunate”), and Michael Jackson (“You Are Not Alone”).
