[Verse 1]
She met him in the summer, when things were chill
Sunkissed and slightly burnt, doin' it for the thrill
Oh, it was picture perfect, usually can't find that
But what always crossed her mind was that

[Chorus 1]
If life's like a movie, do all things stop?
After the kiss, does the curtain drop?
If all feels so perfect, what happens next?
'Cause we all know that deep down all the movies end

[Verse 2]
Stayed up until the sun died, sat 'neath the stars
But still, beneath his bad eyes, she still knew there were scars
They said, "It's picture perfect," usually can't find that
But what always crossed her mind was that

[Chorus 1]
If life's like a movie, do all things stop?
After the kiss, does the curtain drop?
If all feels so perfect, what happens next?
'Cause we all know that deep down all the movies end

[Bridge]
As the days go by my heart will sink
As nothing really matters more than this moment
Close my eyes, I can't blink
I can't waste another second just thinkin'
'Bout the movies and all their endings
'Cause they mean nothing
When they don't got good beginnings
Oh, all the movies and their endings

[Chorus 2]
Oh, if life's like a movie, don't make it stop
After the kiss, raise the curtain up
If all feels so perfect, think 'bout what's next
'Cause if you like the movie then watch it again
