Call me a wild man
Well, I've seen the world
I've had it all in my hands
I had some love but I lost my way
I threw it in for the band

Oh, oh
Call me a wild man and I'll never know
Oh, oh
Call me a wild man and I'll never know

Call me a rover 'cause I've seen some sights
I've had the things that make men smile
But through these years as I reached the end
Oh, I need a friend

Oh
This ain't like I thought it would be no
I'm just a sailor on the deepest dark sea
Ah, looks like life's got the best of me
I'm just a young man but at least I've tried

Call me a wild man
Yeah, I've seen the world
I've had it all in my hands
I had some love but I lost my way
I threw it in for the band

Oh, oh
Call me a wild man and I'll never know
Oh, oh
Call me a wild man and I'll never know

The Babys

The Babys are a British rock band most famous for their hit songs “Every Time I Think of You” and “Isn’t it Time”. The band featured vocalist John Waite, and future Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain.

The band’s name was originally a joke that stuck. According to Waite:

We took the name simply because the record companies wouldn’t listen to any bands they thought were rock & roll. I mean, they wanted sure-fire teen bands, pre-teen bands. We couldn’t get anybody down to hear us to get a record deal, so we called ourselves The Babys. We thought we’d keep the name just for two weeks. Then, the word got around in London that there was a band playing rock & roll called The Babys and it seemed so off the wall, so completely crazy, that it was worth taking a shot with. It really appealed to everyone’s sense of humor.
